About Miles L. Kavaller
Miles L. Kavaller began his legal career with the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1972, spending five formative years inside the federal regulatory body before establishing his private practice in 1977. That foundation gives him an unmatched perspective on how federal transportation regulation actually works — from the inside out.
Today, his practice is primarily involved with both litigation of all types of cases involving transportation companies and focusing of transportation disputes as well as the drafting of contracts between carriers and shippers, carriers and brokers — serving shippers, carriers, brokers, 3PLs, and 4PLs operating in California and across the nation.
Admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, multiple federal circuits, and the New York State Bar since 1972, and the California State Bar since 1977, Mr. Kavaller brings a depth of knowledge that few attorneys in the transportation space can match.
